I can’t help but sing the Love Boat song any time I hear of the 70’s resort splendour Acapulco .. it makes me think of the glitz and glam of the late 70’s and early 80’s – and my internal visual includes beautiful women with middle parts, flicks and large sunglasses wearing gold stiletto’s, all whilst sipping martinis in halter tie swimsuits laying on beach cabanas, whilst hot shirtless puffy 70’s haired cabana boys with thick moustaches wearing white pants would bring olives, cheese cubes and cabanossi served with tooth picks on large platters all while groovy songs are playing loud. I’m sure my visual is not how it was but this is how I would like to think the 70’s elite holidayed in Acupulco.

How to put a halter bikini top on to achieve the maximum support: 

1. Making sure the bikini top is put on the correct way, put the bikini cups over your breasts. 
2. First do up the back strap clip securely first, letting the cups fall and hang forward under your bust. Make sure the underbust band is laying flash against your skin directly under your bust. 
3. Once the back strap is fastened securely and supportively, pull the cups over your breasts making sure the underbust band is still sitting on your skin under your breasts to aid in achieving maximum support. 
4. Pull the tops straps around your neck and tie a bow. Make sure you tie the bow with the correct amount of tightness for you. With a halter it’s a fine balance between tiring the bow too loose and not having enough support or tiring the bow too tight and creating neck pain. The good thing about the halter tie is you can tighten or loosen throughout your wear depending on your comfort level. 
5. you can also tie a double knot for extra security.
