Ruching: What you need to know and why you need it

Ruching is the cherry on top for our body sculpting, figure forming swimwear. It is the ultimate figure slimming, tummy smoothing technique on our bathers.

Ruching is on majority of our affordable designer swimsuits and is an extremely important element to keeping you ladies feeling confident when in and around the water. It is on our one pieces, tankinis, bikinis and swimmer bottoms.

The most common place on the garment we use ruching is across the tummy. However, we do use it on the side of our bikinis and some of our swimmer pants.

The use of ruching on our Nip Tuck swimwear is to enhance the female figure. We add ruching to the outer fabric of our Nip Tuck swimwear, around the middle of the body and sometimes through the side panels. The ruching effect helps create a smoother look across the tummy.

Important points:

Hides the wiggly bits

When combined with powermesh is smooths out your edges and curves

It’s flattering and hides your tummy & love handles

It looks fashionable and feminine

It draws the eyes away from those parts of your body.

The ruching displayed in this image is from a twist front one piece.  As you can see it is gathered in the side panel seams and goes across the front of the body. This style of ruching is also used in our other best selling style; Cross front tummy control one piece and tankini. It hides all the unwanted bumps and lumps to create smooth feminine curves and waistline. It will have you feeling confident and empowered.

The ruching is also on our swimwear bottoms and bikinis. On the swimsuit bottoms will smooth your edges and enhance your natural curves. Whilst on the bikini it is used as a small gathering design detail. The use of the ruching on these styles is subtle but effective.

Ruching is an important technique when it comes to slimming swimsuits and body forming swimwear.

If you have not worn a ruched bather before, we recommend trying our twist front one piece, we can guarantee you will not regret it.

See what all the fuss is about and why Nip Tuck Swim is every woman’s favorite swimsuit.

Kindest,
The Nip Tuck Swim Team xx
